PUBLiCUS Founder Keys Inquirer Briefing

PUBLiCUS Founder/General Manager, Malou Tiquia, together with Inquirer columnist Manolo Quezon and former COMELEC Chairman Christian Monsod  composed the panel of experts for the Inquirer Briefing  last April 14, 2010.

 

Monsod gave his fearless forecast about the conduct of the elections while Quezon gave his take on the meaning of the elections and the role of the institution of the presidency while Tiquia shared her fearless forecast on the outcome of the elections.

Present during the briefing were Inquirer president Alexandra Prieto-Romualdez, esteemed business leader Washington Sycip, NAMFREL president Jose Cuisia, members of the Makati Business Club led by its Executive Director Alberto Lim, , political affairs heads of key embassies such as the US, UK, China, Korea, Singapore.  Top businessmen such as Mr. Andrew Tan and outgoing HSBC president and CEO Mark Watkinson were likewise in attendance as well noted civil society leaders, some specialists in the field plus Inquirer opinion columnists.

Tiquia explained why a fearless forecast is not possible at that time.  She pointed on several imponderables (link to her presentation) and stressed on the last minute movements for both presidential and vice presidential races.
