The PUBLICUS Internship Program The Internship Program offers students the opportunity to work on lobbying and political management projects by contributing to its success and sharing knowledge with the staff.
Objectives
- Learn and better understand the country’s political landscape
- Gain a deeper understanding of lobbying and campaign management and have a better appreciation of their impact to society
- Expand knowledge by learning from experienced professionals
- Contribute to creating a more diverse workforce
Eligibility criteria
Be a student or graduate of Public Administration, Communication Arts, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, Community Development, Education, and International Studies
Submit the following:
- A recommendation letter from the College Dean/Dean of Academic Affairs
- A resume with 2x2 photo
- A one-page essay on why he/she should be given the student assistant/internship slot
Please note that incomplete applications will not be processed. Due to the high number of applications received we will not be able to get back to you in case of incomplete information.
Mechanics
The interns are assigned to appropriate projects, which may run from one to three months. A Certificate of Training or a Recommendation Letter, as the case may be will be given after the internship.
Every intern may, if appropriately recommended, be
- A Probationary Employee of PUBLiCUS;
- A Project Staff for a PUBLiCUS Project; or
- A Staff of a PUBLiCUS client.
