PUBLiCUS & CPED Train New Legislators

Believing that well trained and prepared legislators and staff would mean a proactive and responsive House of Representatives, PUBLiCUS Asia Inc. partnered with the Center for Policy Development and Executive Development (CPED) for its Jumpstarting the New Legislators Series. Initially launched in 2007 by PUBLICUS, the series aims to enhance the capabilities of newly elected members of the House of Representatives to effectively perform their constitutional roles of constituency representation, policymaking, advocacy, oversight, and communication.

The Philippine Association of Communication Educators Foundation (PACE) together with ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation organized the annual lecture fora/congress for communication students and professors.  Known as the  Pinoy Media Congress held last 4- 6 February 2010 at Bulwagang Balagtas, NALLRC Bldg., Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Sta. Mesa, Manila, the congress had for its topic Politics, Media, and Citizenship.
