ISKOR KO TO, the good news radio show produced by PUBLICUS CO. Ltd recently received an ANVIL AWARD of Merit from the Public Relations Society of the Philippines.

ISKOR KO TO is a a one-hour radio program which aims to uplift the spirit, and instill hope in every Filipino through stories of courage, outstanding achievements, and everyday heroism.

Lilibet Amatong, PUBLiCUS Co-Founder and ISKOR KO TO Executive Producer said the show “aims to start a new breed of shows and literature which focuses on good news and erase the notion that only scandals, violence and sex sells”.

“In fact, the show’s principal issues and stories are centered on Corporate Social Responsibility, Best Practices of Local Governments, and Small and Medium Enterprises and their prominent role in propelling the national economy”, she added.

ISKOR KO TO airs on Sundays at 9:00 to 10:00 am over DZRH. It features stories of outstanding Filipino inventors like Bonifacio Commandante, who wowed scientists abroad with his waterless fish transport technology, and Dr. Josette Biyo, who won the Intel Excellence in Teaching Award from among five finalists from China and the United States, the triumphs of Filipino entrepreneurs like Socorro Ramos of National Bookstore and Chit Juan of Figaro Coffee, world-class Filipino talents like the UP Concert Chorus, and the everyday heroism of volunteer Firemen in Binondo.

Amatong said that “in showcasing these stories, and continuously getting the highest ratings for its timeslot, the radio show has proven that good news is appreciated by listeners”.

ISKOR KO TO has earlier been nominated in the 2005 KBP Golden Dove Awards as Best Radio Magazine Talkshow.
