Leader who shows love, concern, care for the country

Among the top 5 government officials in the country, PRRD is the unanimous choice of voters for the leader who shows love (67%), concern (64%), and care (66%) for the country.  Majority of the voters’ choice on how the president can show its love for the nation is projects that helps the poor. This includes financial aid, housing, food, capital for business, and salary increase. This sentiment was the overwhelming opinion in Caloocan and Taguig.

A president that does projects for the poor, and one that prioritizes the welfare of the citizens are seen as the top two qualities of a concerned president. The area of Taguig had the most voters that answered this compared to other areas. Among the top qualities of a caring president the voters perceive are: a president who cares about the citizens after a calamity, a president who puts the interest of the country first rather than his/her, and someone who looks for an opportunity to help his/her fellowmen. Solidarity of Leaders and Citizens

A simple and comfortable life is what the majority of the voters aim for. Majority of the voters also believe that having jobs is top issue of the country, followed by the economy, education, corruption, and health care. Having jobs is the most common priority among NCR, with the exception of Caloocan, Makati, Paranaque, Pateros, Malabon, and Valenzuela. Caloocan’s top issue is Education. Areas of Makati, Paranaque, Pateros and Malabon’s top issue is the economy. Valenzuela’s top issue is Health Care. Voters believe these issues can be solve mainly by projects for the poor and controlling the inflation rate.
