The top 5 political parties National Capital Region voters hear or have heard about are the Liberal Party or LP (74%), Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan or PDP-Laban (60%), United Nationalist Alliance or UNA (45%), Nacionalista Party or NP (39%), and Nationalist People’s Coalition or NPC (38%). The top 5 political parties that voters have knowledge about are the same top 5 parties: LP (61%), PDP-Laban (44%), UNA (27%), NPC (22%), and NP (22%).
Is a political party important to them?
When asked if a political party is important to them, a little more than majority at 56% affirmed importance. Among those who said that political parties are important, 40% say they will join a political party, with a majority saying they will join a local party.
Top 4 traits of a party they are looking for
The top 4 traits of a political party that voters in the National Capital Region are looking for are: a party that has a clear philosophy and consistent with governance in a democracy (38%), a party that has a track record that no big-scale corruption at the national level happened under their rule of government (33%), a party that has principles and sticks to them and is logically consistent (31%), and a party that stands for maximum personal liberty and economic reality (31%).

On the other hand, the top 4 negative traits of a political party that voters are looking for so that they will not join it are: a party that is selfish (47%), a party that is high on promises but low on delivery (46%), a party that is a political opportunist (29%), and a party that aims at getting votes and does not look at the national interest (29%).
