Lilibet Amatong is the Co-Founder/Managing Partner of PUBLiCUS Asia, Inc.. She is PUBLiCUS information-education-communication-mobilization(IECM)expert, and is the company’s resident training course curriculum designer, writer and trainer.
Lilibet is a graduate of Maryknoll College Foundation, Inc. with a degree in Bachelor of Arts Major in Communication Arts. She has earned units for a Masters of Arts Degree, major in Journalism, and Master of Education Degree major in Educational Technology from the University of the Philippines in Diliman. She has a Masters in Public Administration from Andres Bonifacio College in Dipolog City. She was also conferred a Merit of Distinction in the 58th Managers Course at UP ISSI.
Lilibet has earlier worked with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, where she received the Model Government Employee Award in 1988 given by the DENR and the Civil Service Commission. She has also served as trainer consultant of Speech power, researcher writer for Press (POLICY REVIEW and Editorial Services), freelance writer for ABS CBN Foundation Inc.’s SINESKWELA, writer for Rex’s Citylife magazine, author of language books for Rex, field reporter and newswriter for RPN 9 and IBC 13, co- writer and researcher of a five year business plan that garnered a merit of distinction in the Asian Institute of Management’s Masteral course on Entrepreneurship and researcher writer of a UNICEF-funded research. She has also produced a couple of radio programs, starting with ENVIRONWATCH at 104.3 DWBR, the ENVIRONMENT FORUM with Randy David as anchor, and Anvil-Award winner ISKOR KO ‘TO over DZRH.
